IFC Invests $ 40,000,000 in WOW! Nutrition

The IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, has invested $ 40,000,000 in BS&C Empreendimentos e Participações S.A. (WOW! Nutrition), company in the sector of non-gaseous beverages and non-alcoholic beverages from Brazil. The investment will finance the growth plans of the WOW! Nutrition, including the expansion of its production lines, improvement in efficiency and agility in operational processes. Today, the company has two plants, one in the State of São Paulo and another in the State of Amazonas. "This investment is part of IFC''s strategy to the food industry and agribusiness. The expected growth of the WOW! Nutrition will create jobs and increase the demand for agricultural products from its supply chain, "said Luiz Daniel field, IFC Executive in the country.
