Supermarket-industry Entrepreneurs are pessimistic in SP

Only 12.6% of the supermarket sector entrepreneurs were optimistic about the current and future economic environment, according to the research of confidence of Supermarkets do estado de São Paulo (PCS/APAS). The total of naysayers reached 54.7%. According to the Economist Rodrigo Mariano, Manager of the Department of Economics and research of APAS, none of the businessmen believe that inflation is reduced in the short term. "The high and persistent inflation, coupled with poor performance of economic activity affects the optimism of entrepreneurs, that since mid-2013 demonstrate a low level of confidence in the Brazilian economy," comments.
