Grocery shopping paulista rival Natural Earth

The Grocery-retailer that sells fruits, vegetables and vegetables with strong presence in Rio de Janeiro-acquired 100% of the Earth's Natural competitor, of Sao Paulo. The transaction involves cash payment and up to 7% of the shares of the South for two founding shareholders Natural Earth, Alfredo Ruiz and José Luiz Vasconcelos.
The acquisition of Natural Earth occurs in parallel to the negotiation that is ongoing in the market of sale of a slice of 35% of the produce section. This is a part of the participation Fund Bozano, which is going out of business. Last year, its net revenue totaled r $ 922,4 million, which represents a growth of 18% compared to 2013 and net income increased 29% to $ 25.4 million.

In addition to fruits, vegetables, the two networks also have areas for meats, cheeses, beverages and Deli, coffee shop, flower shop and grocery store. The units of the produce section record, per month, a stream of 1.8 million customers. The retailer also has a credit card with 50 thousand active clients.
