Bunge is the most sustainable company of the year by the Guia EXAME

Bunge was voted the most sustainable company of 2015 for the new edition of the EXAME sustainability Guide, which hits the newsstands on Thursday (5).
Largest exporter of agribusiness in the country (with revenues of 40 billion reais in 2014), Bunge is ahead of a growing effort, and encompassing other industry giants to reduce deforestation in the expansion of the agricultural frontier.
She does this through an intense melee with their suppliers, seeking to adapt them to good environmental practices and environmental legislation. The goal is to show that it is possible to increase productivity without the need for new land for planting.

The methodology used in the Guide to assess companies was developed by the Centre of studies of the Getulio Vargas Foundation (GVCes), which is the main institution in the development of strategies, policies and public and business management tools in sustainability in the country.
