According to the Association of pasta and bread & Industrialized Cake (Abima), Brazilian consumption changed. The demand now is for more sophisticated products and of higher quality, which guarantees higher revenues and spending. The volume of pasta sold grew by 5.5% in the last 12 months ended in June. Already high general consumption basket was 15.2%. On the other hand, revenues increased at a much greater speed. The pasta industry expanded 20.7% gains in the period.
