Carrefour plans to open 20 stores in Brazil in the next 12 months

SAO PAULO-the Carrefour group command in the country announced on Thursday the opening of the first store of the brand Express in Brazil, as anticipated yesterday by Value. "With this opening, we reiterate our plan to increase investments in the country," said the President of Carrefour Brazil, Charles Desmartis. "We plan to open up 20 shops of all the flags in the Carrefour group in the next 12 months."
The Express network operates in the neighbourhood shops, with small units, and is present in ten countries in the world. The Executive said that the company is revamping its antique shops of hypermarkets in the country and is expanding investments in the "new generation of supermarkets" Carrefour neighborhood.
