APOTHECARY GROUP PREDICTS GROWTH of 16%

The company reduced its forecast for growth this year from 18% to 16% after poor performance in sales of the first half. To the President of the company, Arthur Grynbaum, the World Cup had negative impact during the period. "I believe that the second half should exceed expectations, after the holidays and days of games affected sales in June and July". Despite the drop, the projected growth for the company is up 11.8 percent for the sector, made by the Brazilian Association of the industry of personal hygiene, perfumery and cosmetics (Abihpec). Grynbaum considers the consumer environment in the delicate country and points out that the elections become uncertain projections.
