Cade approves indirect purchase by JBS Avebom Birds

JBS Birds Ltd. obtained approval of the Administrative Council for economic Defense (Cade), without restrictions, to buy DBF Stockholdings Ltda., owner of the Avebom food industry Ltda.. The decision was published by the Superintendent-General of the municipality in the "Diário Oficial da União" this Monday, after analysis of the process in brief rite.
With the acquisition, the company J&F Group extends its slaughter capacity of chickens, from the Avebom factory, which is located in Banbury, in the State of Paraná.
JBS will be with all the shares representing the capital of DBF, non-operating company belonging to two individuals (John Vani Colofatti and Prodip Israa).
