Agrale's new factory will be in Espírito Santo

Agrale, manufacturer of bus chassis from light trucks, tractors and SUVs, will build an industrial unit in São Mateus (ES), municipality just over 200 miles north of Victoria. The new plant will receive total investments of R $ 40 million and should enter into operation in the first half of 2015, according to the company.
The factory will begin to operate with the production of chassis for minibuses Volare that will be mounted on the drive that put into operation Marcopolo in the same city until the end of this year. Agrale is already a supplier of bus body manufacturer and the two companies have headquarters in Caxias do Sul (RS).
According to the advice of Agrale, the capixaba unit will produce the "full range" of the company, including an estimated 1,000 chassis in the first 12 months of operation. The memorandum of understanding for the realisation of the investment was signed yesterday with the Government of Espírito Santo and the municipality of St. Matthew.
This will be the fifth industrial unit Agrale, who already has three in Caxias do Sul and one in Mercedes, in Argentina, and with it the company intends to reduce costs of transporting finished products to other regions of Brazil. "Today we are penalized with freight costs to ship the products from the South to the rest of the country, especially East and Northeast", reported, in a note, the Chief Executive Officer Hugo Zattera.
Agrale, which had revenues of $ 1.25 billion last year, is part of the Group Stedile, which controls companies still Agritech Lavrale (manufacturer of tractors and agricultural implements), Fundituba (fused), Germani foods, Germani cereals and Farm Three Rivers. The whole group showed gross revenue of $ 1.72 billion in 2013.
