Volvo's sales rise 4% in May compared to the previous year

Stockholm (Reuters)-Volvo, second largest truck manufacturer in the world, reported that its sales of trucks rose 4:0 pm may compared with the same period of last year, above the market's expectations, but said that the product mix had been unfavorable as sales of light trucks overcame the heavy vehicles.
The average forecast in a Reuters poll of analysts was for an increase of 1.3 percent for shipments of manufacturer Volvo trucks, Mack, UD Trucks and Renault.
Deliveries from Volvo in Europe, its main market, fell 4 percent, while retreated 19 percent in South America. The decline in these regions was offset by an increase of 13 percent in North America and a 26 percent jump in Asian deliveries.
