The Brazilian mobile telephony market ended the first half with 265.7 million active lines, the National Telecommunications Agency (Anatel). The volume corresponds to a growth of 3.7% compared to the first half of last year.

The mobile broadband segment reached 77.4 million hits in June, an increase of 58.3% compared to last year. Of this total, 174.1 thousand accesses are terminals with fourth-generation technology (4 g).
