Aurora's exports grow 45% in first half

Chicken exports totaled 64,674 tons (33.2%) and increase resulted in 333.7 million reais, with 55.3% growth in revenue. Sales of pork of the dawn on the world market rose to 23,775 tons and 140.6 million reais, a +16% in volumes and +25.6% in foreign currency. Were also exported in the period, 3,399 tons of raw material (5.2 million dollars) and 1,115 tons of processed products (3.7 million dollars).
According to Mário Ladera, the chicken segment recorded the highest growth, reflecting the recent incorporation of the industrial plants of the FAG (fridge Aurora Guatambu, ex-Bondio) and FAX (Refrigerator Aurora Xaxim, ex-Diplomata).
