With $ 320 mi, Chinese will have plant in Mato Grosso do Sul

The deal comes at a time when the Chinese Government restricts the expansion of its domestic corn processing industry to try to ensure supplies for the livestock industry, with corn production already struggling to handle the robust growth in demand.
BBCA biochemical producer based in Anhui Province, in Eastern China, will start the construction of the factory next year. The production of corn starch and other products such as glucose, maltose, corn oil and protein powder will start in 2015, according to information from the Government of Mato Grosso do Sul.
The factory will process corn produced by local farmers. The Governor of Mato Grosso do Sul, André Puccinelli, who was in Beijing for the signing of the investment agreement, said that 60% of products are exported to the European Union, with the remainder being used in the local market. The project will require an investment of $ 320 million.
