Flow in 2019 Records High of 3.6%

In 2019, Iflux, an indicator that measures the flow of people in shopping malls in Brazil, recorded a 3.6% increase over 2018, with emphasis on the contribution of São Paulo (5.3%). After growth of 2.6% in November, the survey showed a drop of 0.5% in December, compared to the same period in 2018. In regional terms, the reduction resulted from the 1.7% drop in Rio de Janeiro, while Recife and São Paulo maintained growth, respectively, of 1.5% and 1.3%.
