Textile production declined 1.3% from January to May

Brazilian textile production shrank 1.3% between January and May this year, in the annual comparison. The fall accompanies the retail of clothes, which decreased 0.2% in the same period. For the year, the expectation is high of 1.1% in production and 1.5% in retail, the Brazilian Association of Textile Industry (ABIT) said.
