Gol's domestic demand grows 6.5% in June; Offer stays stable

SÃO PAULO (Reuters)-Gol found a high of 6.5% in the demand of its flights in the Brazilian market in June against the same period of 2018, while the offer was stable, according to previous traffic data released by the airline this Friday. This performance resulted in an increase of 5.2 percentage points in the occupancy rate last month, to 84.3%. On international flights, Gol recorded an increase of 116.4% in demand and 78.1% in the offer, resulting in an occupancy rate of 75.5%, an increase of 13.4 points compared to June last year. In this context, the total demand increased 14.4% and the offer rose 7% last month in the year-on-year comparison, with the occupancy rate of the consolidated flights staying at 83%, an increase of 5.4 percentage points.
