Consumer delinquency drops 2% in June

The consumer default rate fell by 2% in June, compared to the same period last year. The data is part of a survey of Boa Vista, a credit information company. The indicator accumulates a decline of 5.3% in the year and 3% in the accumulated 12 months ended in June. In comparison with May this year, the delinquency dropped 1.9%, discounting the seasonal effects. According to the research, the southeast was the only region that was discharged in the monthly comparison, with an increase of 0.7%. Considering the accumulated in 12 months, all regions presented a reduction in delinquency, with emphasis on the south, with 6.5%.
