Natura confirms negotiation for purchase of Avon via stock Exchange

São Paulo – Natura has confirmed in this Wednesday press information that it is negotiating the purchase of North American rival Avon through an exchange of shares, but ponned that there is no way to guarantee that it will actually conclude the transaction. "The parties are currently negotiating the final contractual terms and conditions of the transaction," Natura said in a communiqué to the market. Earlier, the Financial Times published that Natura will buy Avon in an all-stock deal that evaluates the U.S. group by more than $2 billion.
