Food outside the home has a high of 4.3%

Sales of foodservice networks associated with the Instituto FoodService Brasil (IFD) recorded in April high of 4.3% in the annual comparison. In the case of transactions carried out in the country, the last negative result pointed out by the entity had happened in October 2018, when losses reached 2.2. Average ticket according to IFB, the average ticket of Brazilians with foodservice companies was R $25.30, still a reflection of the cautious consumer with spending on food outside the home. In note, IFB points out that the still reticent result is directly linked to the performance of the Brazilian economy in points such as employment, decreased income and uncertainties with the future of the economy. Even before this scenario, in April, about a year earlier, companies in the sector tried to maintain some pace of inaugurations. As a result there was a breakthrough in the house of 0.6% in number of commercial establishments geared to food outside the home. The IFB has today 47 associates which, together, have an annual turnover of more than R $63 billion.
