Klabin expands its Factory in Parana

Klabin, producer of paper and packaging, will invest R $9.1 billion in your factory expansion in the region of Ortigueira in Paraná. The value is used in the Puma Unit II, which covers the construction of two paper machines with integrated pulp production. According to the company, this new machinery will be responsible for producing 920,000 tons of Kraftliner paper per year. The construction will be divided into two stages, with two years of duration each, the first starts in 2021 and the second in 2023. The expansion, according to the producer, because of the increase in world demand for paper for packaging.
