Raia Drogasil predicts 240 new pharmacies on 2020

Raia Drogasil (RD), owner of the Droga Raia and Drogasil networks, intends to open 240 units in 2020. In a relevant fact filed in the Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), the company clarifies that growth projections "are estimates, and that do not constitute a promise of performance, so that they can be revised, positively or negatively". In 2018, Raia Drogasil inaugurated 240 units and, for 2019, the expectation is to open other 240 stores. For the next year, the projection considers the strategy of expansion, the financial capacity, the achievement of attractive business points and the availability of skilled employees. This year, the pharmacy network led the billing Ranking of the Brazilian Association of Pharmacy and Drugstore networks (Abrafarma) for the eighth consecutive year. Currently there are more than 1,917 stores distributed by 22 states of the country.
