NOVELIS EXPANDS NETWORK OF ALUMINUM RECYCLING COLLECTION

Novelis extends your network of purchase of equipment for recycling and opens your ninth collection Centre with headquarters in Uberlândia, Minas Gerais. Novelis has achieved in fiscal 2018 the mark of 57% of inputs from recycling in your total global production. "The scrap processing capability of Novelis in Brazil is of 390,000 tons of aluminum per year and we believe that, with the awareness of the population about the importance of recycling and aluminum market development in the country, the trend is that our ability to continue growing, "says Morales. Novelis factory in Pindamonhangaba is currently the largest recycling center and aluminum lamination of South America, with a production capacity of 600,000 tons of aluminum per year.
