Durable goods sector Expect High sales

The durable goods sector should register growth of 6% in sales in 2018, compared with last year. The projection was conducted by GfK and 4E consulting. With the advance, the industry turnover can reach R $107.2 billion-same level of 2014. Despite the forecast of growth, the estimate be represents a slowdown in the pace of expansion last year, which was of the order of 11%. According to the study, the result of the year will depend on the performance during Black Friday, seasonal industry premier event. This year, the expectation is high of 5% in sales of the promotional period, while in 2017 there was growth of 11%.
