Coffee consumption in Brazil can grow up to 3.5% in 2017, says Abic

SAO PAULO (Reuters)-the consumption of coffee in Brazil in 2017 can grow between 3 and 3,5% before 2016 and reach around 22 million bags of 60 kg, valued on Tuesday the Executive Director of the Brazilian coffee industry Association (Abic) Nathan Herszkowicz.
According to him, this projection is an "optimistic hypothesis", given the economic recovery scenario in Brazil.
The Executive explained that growth should be in the midst of a higher consumption among young people, the coffee association with health benefits and also for the expansion of outlets.
