AmBev Has 1.3% drop in sales Of Beer

Ambev recorded 1.3% fall in sales of beer in Brazil, during the second quarter of the year compared with the same period last year. According to the company, the reduction was less than the average of the brewery-all the breweries shrunk 2.7% according to data from Nielsen. The adjusted net profit of Ambev in the second quarter was R $2.141 billion-2.4% less than in the same period in 2016. Ambev''s net revenue increased 4.8 percent in the second quarter, driven by the positive results of the company''s international: Latin America South (+ 36.2%), Central America and Caribbean (+ 6.9%) and Canada (+ 1.4%). In Brazil there was a fall of 4.1%.
