IBGE shows that between 15 24 activities recorded high of IPP June prices

Rio, 27-falls in the prices of products of oil refining industries and products of alcohol extractive and food, pulled the 0.21% deflation registered by the producer price index (PPI), said the Brazilian Institute of geography and statistics (IBGE). On the other hand, the prices of items in the pulp and paper activity prevented a larger indentation in the month.
Among the 24 industrial activities surveyed, 15 showed positive changes in June. The highest increases were recorded in pulp and paper (3.39%), tobacco (2.00%), other transportation equipment (1.86%) and wood (0.95%). In the opposite direction, the extractive industries segment had the main retreat, 6.22%-, followed by petroleum products and biofuels (-2.14%) and clothing (-1.32%).
In relation to the formation of the IPP June rate, the biggest negative contributions started from oil refining and alcohol products (-0.22 percentage point), extractive industries (-0.21 percentage point) and food (-0.09 percentage point).
On the other hand, pressed the industry''s inflation the pulp and paper sector (0.12 percentage point).
Capital goods
The capital goods were 0.88% more expensive at the factory in June, according to the data of the IPP, including extractive and processing industry. The result occurs after prices have climbed 0.69 percent in May. The intermediate goods retreated 0.36 percent in June, compared with a fall of 0.27 percent the previous month.
Already consumer goods prices fell 0.24 percent, after a rise of 0.56% in May. Within the consumer goods, durable goods had slight indentation of 0.01%, up from 1.56 percent advance the previous month. Durable semi-durable and non-durable consumption retreated 0.32% in June, compared with an increase of 0.25% in May.
The fall of 0.21% of the IPP in June had 0.08 percentage point contribution of capital goods; -0.20 percentage point of intermediate goods and-0.09 percentage point to consumer goods.
