Demand for flights in Brazil rises 5.4% in March, says Faa

SAO PAULO-the demand for domestic flights in Brazil advanced 5,40% in March over the same month last year, according to figures released on Friday by the National Civil Aviation Agency (Anac).
The high in demand in March was the first of the year, after the low of 5,29% in February and 1,79% in January.
The offer of seats by the airlines went up 3,47% in the period.
Gol''s participation in domestic advanced compared to the previous year, passing the answer by 35% in March this year, compared with 32,6% a year earlier. Already the share of Tam fell to 33%, down from 36,8%, according to Anac.
The increased participation in your Blue 0.9 percentage point, to 18,7%, while the share of Avianca in March also rose to 0.9 point, to 12,7%.
The Abear, association representing the main companies in the sector, reported on April 20 that the demand for domestic flights rose 5,9% in March compared with the same period in 2016, the first positive result on that basis of comparison in 20 months.
