Kirin Brazil Presents R$ 271 Mi of Profit

The Brazil Kirin, the beverage company, reversed the prejudice to 2015 in a net profit of 271 million R$ (with operating profit of 352 million R$). The company''s Ebitda amounted to 596 million, compared with R$ a negative number of R$ 161 million the previous year. The company also presented a 3.5% growth in sales volume of-1.3% being in beers and 7.4% in soft drinks. As a result, the gross sales revenue jumped to 7.3 billion R$ in 2016, an increase of almost 10% from 2015. Already the net revenue totaled 3.7 billion R$, 5.5% higher than the previous year. "The good results in sales and in reinforcing market gain that we hit on our portfolio review and strategy of repositioning of the brand," says Andre Salles, President of Brazil Kirin.
