CADE approves without restriction purchase Dow resin business by South Korean SK Global

SAO PAULO-the Administrative Council for economic Defense (Cade) approved without restrictions on the purchase by South Korean SK Global petrochemical resin business for production of plastic barrier films for medical application and in American foods Dow Chemical.
According to order of the Superintendent-General, published in the Official Gazette on Friday, the operation does not have the capacity to generate damage to the Brazilian market due to the modest participation of SK Global exports to Brazil.
The assets of Dow Chemical acquired by South Korean are located in Michigan, in the United States.
