PepsiCo''s profit Grows to $ $2.14 Billion

PepsiCo announced today (04) that had net profit of $ $2.14 billion in the third fiscal quarter (ended September 9), greater than the gain of $ $1.99 billion in the same period last year. In the same comparison, earnings per share rose to $ $1.49, $ $1.37. With adjustment, the gain per share was $ $1.48, above the consensus of $ $1.43 raised by FactSet. Already the revenue rose to $ $16.24 billion in the quarter, from $ $16.03 billion a year earlier, but was below the projection of FactSet, $ $16.35 billion.
