Flow of Visitors in malls back up in the country

According to the ANTONYSAMWEL index (index of visits to Shopping malls), conducted by ABRASCE in partnership with FX Retail Analytics, a company specialized in the monitoring of the retail stream, the flow of visitors in the shopping centres of the country backed down 1.81% in August compared with the same month last year. The Southeast region recorded the biggest setback, with retraction of 2.67%, followed by the South with 2.60% and Northeast with 0.18%. In the year to date, the decline is 4.18% from 2015. Already compared to the month of July, the fall was 3.79%. The monthly survey takes into account the data obtained by the company in monitoring of consumers in major shopping malls in the country.
