Chinese Professional manufacturer will produce cars in Goiás

SAO PAULO-the Chinese Professional manufacturer signed this month commitment with the Government of Goiás for the construction of a factory in Goianésia, with investments of 150 million R$. The inauguration is scheduled for 2018.
The plant will have a capacity of 20 1000 vehicles a year and will produce initially compact Z100 Logic in gasoline and electric versions. At the end of the year, the company will start selling the model imported from China.
1.4 1000 jobs will be generated, according to Kadu Baba, General Director of Brazil''s Professional. Brazilian businessman of dealers, it will bear with 51% of the investment and the Chinese with 49%.
In October, the acquired Professional, by 190 million R$, the brazilian automaker TAC, created by a group of parts suppliers. The factory works in Sobral (EC) and produces the Jeep Starck, sold.
The Brazil houses today only a Chinese factory, Chery, in Jacareí (SP). The JAC has plans to build a plant in Camaçari (BA).
