Ambev's net profit has 15.8% high in Q2

São Paulo-beverage maker Ambev reported a net profit of r $ 2,508 billion in the second quarter of 2015, which represents 15.8% high compared to the same period last year.
This result is attributed to participation of controllers, excluding the participation of minority shareholders of the company. In the first half, profit was r $ 5,319 billion, an increase of 12.8%.
Consolidated profit, which already includes the slice of minority shareholders, registered a growth of 16.9 percent on the same basis of comparison, reaching r $ 2,590 billion in the second quarter. In results report disclosed this Thursday, 30, to directors of the company also reported adjusted net profit, before special revenue and expenditure, which figure in the second quarter totaled r $ 2,829 billion, expansion of 27.3%.
The Ebitda (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) adjusted rose 23.9%, totaling r $ 4,123 billion from April to June. In six months, the adjusted Ebitda reached r $ 9,196 billion, expansion of 24.6%
In the quarter, the company's net revenue totaled r $ 9,910 billion, 21.2% gain compared to the previous year. In the first half, sum R $ 20,678 billion, an increase of 20.1%.
