Food High in price May Lead

The cost of living by Social Class (CVCS) surged to 0.47% in may, racked up 5.27% in the year and 8.37% in the last 12 months, points FecomercioSP search. The power group was primarily responsible for the progress of prices and accounted for about 61% of the increase of the indicator with high of 1.29 percent in the month, 5.36% on year and 9.22% in the last 12 months. The retail price index (BTI), one of the indicators that make up the CVCS, recorded high of 0.74% in May. The accumulated variation in the year was 4.36 percent, higher to 3.85% observed in the same period last year. In the last 12 months, the high was 5.70 percent.
