Suzano sells factory and gets 49.9% of the Ibema

Suzano announced yesterday the purchase of 49.9% slice of the capital stock of Ibema. The operation will be carried out through the sale to the Ibema of a paper mill, Suzano's card in Embu (SP), in the amount of r $ 50 million.
Suzano will also make a financial contribution of $ 8 million in Ibema. The deal will be made in a few steps and "will be subject to the fulfillment of conditions precedent, customary adoption by the Administrative Council for economic Defense (Cade) and by other regulatory agencies," explained Suzano, in fact disclosed last night.
With the completion of the deal, the Ibema will have two units, one in Embu (SP) and the other in Turvo (PR), with annual production capacity of 140 thousand tons of paper card. The control will be shared between Suzano and Ibemapar.
