Minas Gerais WINS one more craft beer label

Now, the business is preparing for the launch of a new recipe, which should add its production by at least another five thousand litres per month.
The brewery is in São Gonçalo do Rio Abaixo, in the Central region of the State. According to co-owner Fernando Cota, the choice of the municipality took into consideration the quality of the local water. "Having quality water makes a big difference, because it influences the drink and also in business accounts, since it avoids spending on a new treatment process," he says. Moreover, the businessman claims that the city is structured to grow and attract industries, which should make it an attractive pole in little time.
As there is only three months ago, the brand offers only a beer recipe so far. It is a pilsen that takes more malt traditional beers and has a pronounced bitterness. "The greater amount of malt leaves the beer more voluminous and the flavor has a keener bitterness, that is the differential of the recipe," he explains. The brand sells the drink in 30 and 50 litres kegs to distributors, restaurants and final consumers of the Middle counties of Piracicaba and Capital.
Quota points out that a new recipe is already being prepared and should be released in the second half of this year. He explains that the interval between a release and another is deliberate, because it is necessary to test the acceptance of each flavor on the part of customers, in order to have references to the next.
