Audi sales up 11.4% in the 1st half, record-high

The German carmaker Audi luxury said that sales for the first half rose 11.4 percent to a record 869,350 vehicles, due to strong demand by the A3 model.
In June, sales rose 10.8 percent to 155,450 cars, said the luxury Division of Volkswagen in a statement on Monday.
"We will continue with the start of the first half of this year in the second half," said the Vice President of sales at Audi, Luca de Meo.
The automaker had already announced record sales in the first half in China, its biggest global market.
