Hypermarcas recorded net income of r $ 54.9 million in the fourth quarter of 2013, a retreat of 55.9% compared to net income for the same period in 2012, of R $ 124,7 million, as demonstration of consolidated results released late on Friday.
According to the statement, available on the website of the Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), the net profit in the full year to 2013 was r $ 256,7 million, up from 25.9% over the r $ 203,9 million 2012.
The net result is considered attributable to shareholders of parent company, basis for the distribution of dividends.
Hypermarcas net revenue in the fourth quarter of 2013 reached r $ 1,118 billion, on high 9% over the R $ 1.026 billion from the fourth quarter of 2012. In the annual consolidated net revenue was R $ 4,258 billion in 2013, up from $ 3,873 billion in 2012, in expansion of 9.9%.
The company's gross profit in the fourth quarter of 2013 was r $ 716,6 million, against r $ 631,2 million in the same period last year, an increase of 13.5%. Gross profit in 2013 reached r $ 2,748 billion, compared to R $ 2,409 billion the previous year, a growth of 14.1%.
