Beer bottle have reptile skin texture

Tuatara brewery, of New Zealand, now bottles with the texture of reptile. The bottle is inspired by the tuatara, the animal which gives its name to the brand and is found only in the country of Oceania (pictured below). The package mimics the animal's scales.
The bottle was developed by brewery in partnership with Owens-Illinois (O-I). "The idea for this bottle is very simple, but the technical challenges were enormous," says the General Manager of the brewery, Sean Murrie. The project was created by designer Anton Hart. The bottle is produced in the factory-I in Auckland.
