CMP's new factory will invest in the manufacture of cans for paint and food industry

The company Metalgraphica Paulista (CMP), manufacturer of tins for food, vegetable oils and fats and chemicals (paints, varnishes, glues and solvents), inaugurated in January a new plant in the city of Cajamar (SP). The plant has 80 thousand square meters, with 17 thousand square meters of constructed area and 15 thousand m² divided in modules for leasing logistics. Metalgráfica invested $ 80 million in construction and purchase of equipment.
The new venture, with initial capacity of 3 thousand tons of processed steel per month, you will receive the entire structure, equipment and about 30% of the employees of the unit São Paulo (SP), which will be deactivated. The other 70% will be residents of the region. The prediction is that the factory has 300 employees who produce cans for paint and food market.
"The great advantage of this unit is that we will have a large area for storage of finished products, which will supply two bottlenecks: the storage of our products and the raw materials of customers", explains Adriano Marson CMP's commercial Manager, which also emphasizes the process more agile and efficient in production.
The CMP has invested in technology and offers a color Manager, which will decrease from 30 days to one week the entire development process of lithography. Another gain was buying a printer on, with capacity to process 6 thousand sheets of Tin per hour and allows UV finish, a significant increase compared to conventional printers of 2,500 sheets/hour.
"With the new CMP factory will invest even more in customer service because we believe that this is our differential, because quality of packaging is a requirement that several companies offer. In addition, we offer greater flexibility and development of new labels, "says Jose Villela de Andrade, Managing Director of CMP.
The company will maintain its other two plants, in Morro Agudo (SP) and Annapolis (GO).
