Triângulo Mineiro and SIG: a successful partnership

The Triangulo Mineiro brand has been growing above the condensed milk market for the past two consecutive years, achieving a market share in volume of 9.1% in 2019 according to Kantar.
In 2019, the company had two filling machines for small sizes with a production capacity of 24,000 units per hour. With these equipment, Triangulo Mineiro set records in the production of condensed milk at its plant in the city of Canápolis, Minas Gerais, surpassing the mark of 79 million packages produced, in addition to a productivity index of more than 95%.

The results of condensed milk production showed us that we could expand this partnership to other products and today we are with high expectations of intensifying uht milk production," says Ricardo Figueira de Paula, Managing Director of Triângulo Mineiro.

The greater production capacity guaranteed the industry to expand its operations, growing, for example, by more than 50% in regions such as the Northeast of the country, according to kantar data.

In addition to supplying packaging and filling equipment, SIG was also responsible for the development of milk canister arts. Which are now easier to handle due to their shape, in combiblocMidi, which is longer and with cover, also facilitating storage after open, in addition to a more modern design emphasizing the quality of products Triangulo Mineiro.
The whole new concept of the regular milk line (whole, semi-skimmed and skimmed), was developed by SIG, which has an internal design team.
