Network Reduces Electricity Consumption

The Leroy Merlin network identified the opportunity to lower energy consumption expenses with the adoption of the energy efficiency solution of GreenYellow, a company specialized in this service. In 2017, the two companies signed an agreement that, in principle, would include only three units of the network, but over time, with the achievement of positive results, the contract was expanded to 17 more stores allowing a reduction of 0.5 GWh in energy consumption , which represents savings of R$ 285,000 per store in the period of one year. Compared to the previous indexes, a 23% decrease in resource use was recorded.
