Virtual Bookshelf Is Rounded for R$ 31 Million

Magazine Luiza acquired The Virtual Shelf, a website that sells new and used books, for R$ 31 million. The purchase was held at an auction last Thursday (30). E-commerce, which totals R$ 90 million in sales per year, had been valued by Livraria Cultura at R$ 44 million. The Virtual Shelf operates with a collection of tallow with 18 million books and two million applications per year. The site has 6,000 shopkeepers staying, 40% of the sale being new items and 60% used. These 6,000 shopkeepers add up to magalu's 14,000 book shopkeepers, totaling 20,000.
