For Lucas Marques, COO of Méliuz - a cashback company - the initiative is an opportunity for the retailer to capture information from its audience. "This is a loyalty program to generate more value to the consumer's purchasing experience. It is also an opportunity to analyze data on users' consumption behavior to do smarter and targeted marketing campaigns," he says, exclusively to Giro News. "Recently, we launched our credit card and, for this year, we will expand the offer of services in the financial line in partnership with banks," he anticipates. According to COO, the company has already returned about R$ 120 million in reward to its customers. Currently, Méliuz has more than 9 million users and has partnerships with 1,600 physical and online stores in the food service, supermarket and pharmacy segments. Among the e-commerce partners are the Submarino, Americanas, Amazon and Netshoes platforms.
