Sector Revenue Grows 0.38% in September

The wholesale distributor's revenue stemd positive in September in nominal terms, with growth of 0.38% compared to the same month in 2018. In the year- year-to-date, from January to September, performance was higher at 1.19% compared to the same period last year, maintaining the sector's expectation of ending 2019 with a rise of between 1% and 2%. However, from August to September, there was a drop of -3.33%. The data are part of the monthly survey of the Brazilian Association of Wholesalers and Distributors of Industrialized Products (Abad). For the president of the institution, Emerson Luiz Destro, the third quarter, traditionally the best period of the year for trade, has signs of warming.
