Coca-Cola Bottler Grows 24.2%

The Mexican Economic Development (Femsa), owner of Coca-Cola's largest bottler, recorded a 24.2% increase in revenue in Brazil in the third quarter of 2019, compared to 14.8 billion Mexican pesos. Femsa's sales volume rose 5.7% in the country, driven by growth of 12% in the water segment and 4.9% in soft drinks. Overall, net income grew 23.3%, totaling 4 billion Mexican pesos. Revenue advanced 10.3 percent to 48.69 billion Mexican pesos. On a comparable basis, the increase was 11.6%. Gross profit, in turn, grew 7.6%.
