Ambev raises purchase of cassava in maranhão for brewing

Ambev will raise the purchase of cassava in Maranhão for beer production. With the increased demand for local beer Magnificent, launched less than a year ago, the expectation is that from September to December this year the purchase of cassava by the brewery in 32 municipalities will increase from 400 tons to 1000 tons. According to Ambev, from the pre-launch of beer to September this year, about R$ 3.6 million were transferred to family farming through the Magnificent project.
