Klabin presents biodegradable trays for fruit

Klabin launches a tray for the transport, storage and exposure of fully biodegradable fruits and vegetables. The solution is developed in corrugated cardboard and made from clean fibers, that is, used for the first time and without contaminants. This combination ensures that food is stored, transported and presented with complete safety. In addition, according to the company, the design collaborates with the reduction of food waste, since it has holes that enable optimal ventilation for the preservation and integrity of the merchandise. The new product, as well as the others produced by the company, is made from planted and certified forests of the company, that is, it comes from sustainable and renewable sources, and is fully recyclable after use. Packaging is certified by international bodies, which ensure that food is safely packaged and free of contamination.
