Children of Rivera wants open factory no País em 2021

The Spanish Hijos de Rivera, owner of Estrella Galicia beer brand, plans to install a factory in Brazil in 2021. According to the company, the international expansion plan aims to increase from 6% to 10% revenue out of Spain. The operation was announced in 2017, with an investment of RS 100 million in a factory in Minas Gerais, however, according to the manufacturer, the project was postponed. The Hijos de Rivera wants to also expand to other countries in Latin America and supply the region with brazilian production. Today, between 20% and 25% of the beer sold in Brazil by the Estrella Galicia are imported from Spain and the rest is produced in partnership with Casa di Conti.
