Raízen energy and São Martinho sign an agreement to buy the plant's biological assets Furlan

SAO PAULO (Reuters)-the Raízen energy, a joint venture between Shell and Cosan and São Martinho group signed an agreement for joint acquisition of biological assets of Açúcareira Plant Furlan, in Santa Barbara in the West (SP), in a transaction to 118 million dollars, reported on Thursday night. The Covenant provides for the lease of lands owned by Furlan and Plant Agro Livestock Furlan, according to a statement. Completed the operation, the Raízen will take over two-thirds of agricultural and supply contracts, totaling about 1 million tons of sugar cane in the region, and the Sao Martinho will take care of the rest.
